Now that I have started making money with this program, I can tell you that
you really can also. It provides step by step instructions to promote and market
the program, which can also be used to promote and market any other program.
For me, it was very much worth the $14.99 price.

#1 There is NO miracle pill
#2 To lose weight you must burn more calories than your intake
Eat Less, Exercise More
#3 Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day
Your car won't run without gas, your body won't run without food
#4 Eat Healthy
A healthy diet will burn calories more efficiently
#5 BEWARE of Sugar Free, Fat Free and No Sugar Added
These can be misleading. Always check the nutrition label for calories and compare.
#6 Buy a Food Scale
#7 Forget about exercise 3/wk 30 min ea.
Any movement burns calories, breathing, walking, dancing, cooking, etc,,,, We even burn calories when we sleep.
Are you better at following a strict written diet or being creative on your own?.
Do you need a support group, a friend, or can you do it alone?
Should you hide the Goodies or throw them away?
Calorie counting works for me. I tried paper & pencil and also an online diet program where I type in everything I eat
What works for me is that I can see everything I ate/drank with the calorie total next to it but also,
I have to think, if I put this in my mouth, I have to write it dowm/enter it to the program,
Do I REALLY want to put this in my mouth?
Many calories are on the nutrition label. For others, You can buy a calorie counting book or do an internet search for them.
What has/hasn't worked in the past?
These are calculators to determine how many calories your body needs to stay at your weight. Interestingly, they all gave me different results. MyPyramid.gov Dietitian.com WVDA.org EXRX.net AnneCollins.com
Once you know how many calories you need to maintain your weight, you can decide
how many calories to eat to lose weight. There a 3500 calories in 1 pound. If you want to lose
1 pound/week, subtract 500 calories/day from your calculated calories.
2 pounds/week = 1000 calories/day to subtract. Most Doctors would not recommend
eating less than 1200 calories/day because it's difficult to get all the nutrition you need.
Most people burn or use between 70 and 100 calories each hour. Less when we sleep
and more when we're active.
Try not to eat more calories than you can burn in a few hours.
Pay attention when you eat. I stop anything I'm doing so I can enjoy every bite.
If you don't remember eating, you might overeat.
My own diet strategies (The lazy way to lose weight)
I hate exercise. I drink a lot of coffee so I dance to the bathroom and back. I do a sort of twist on the Cha-Cha and Belly Dance. Pretty much I try to shake it up as much as I can. My husband thinks it's cute, that's a bonus. I detour through the living room to make it a longer trip. I have an overweight cat so I bought a lower calorie food and put his dish on a table. He has to use more energy to get there and back to bed
While in bed I wiggle, jiggle, rock, sway etc..., any movement burns calories. I flex muscles, butt, tummy, legs, arms etc..., because muscle burns more calories than fat. I also try to do 10 crunches (lying flat & pulling the legs up to the tummy, kind of a backwards sit up) in the morning and night.
I add sugar-free hazelnut cream and fake sugar to my coffee. It's excellent, I use to eat
something sweet with my coffee, but don't need it with the hazelnut.
When I'm bored with coffee, I drink water (filtered). When I get bored of water, I drink sugar free tang mixed with diet 7up.
I set up my days meals in advance, whether it's putting a vegetable or soup can on the counter, preparing some raw
vegetables, putting items in the front of the refrigerator or just writing down a list of what I will eat that day.
I do this so when I get hungry I don't have to think, it's already planned. Another great reason is if my mood changes
by things that happen in my day and I'm feeling depressed or excited or angry, I tend to eat things other than what
I know I should. It's a real good reminder that THIS is what I wanted to eat today. When dieting, it's better to eat 5-6 light meals a day.
I try to eat 1 salad each day. I choose only low calorie dressings but like variety. If I don't have a salad, I make a plate of raw vegetables and top them with a low calorie salsa. This works with carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, celery, zucchini, radishes, cabbage, peppers, lettuce and many others. Salsa is also good topping an omlette, an easy and differnet way of making juevos rancheros.
If I don't feel like I ate enough vegetables, I drink V-8. My favorite is Spicey Hot.
I've read that eating spicey hot foods can temporarily increase metabolism. (also read)
My favorite
Cereal is Total. Sometimes I have it for breakfast, with sliced banana if I'm real hungry, but it's also good for a crunchy nighttime snack.
I'm not a big breakfast person but at minimum I have a slice of Whole Grain light (I think they just make the slices smaller) bread/toast with I can't
believe it's not butter 'light', and maybe some sugar-free jam, but only on the half I eat last..
I'm real lazy when it comes to making meals. I look for low calorie TV dinners. There are many available. Healthy Choice, Smart Ones, Lean Cuisine,
South Beach Diet and even Banquet has some lower calorie choices. If I do cook, it's simple. I put 4 ounces of fish in a bowl, cover it with
concentrated lemon juice, water and either dill or pickle juice. I use the reheat button on the microwave for 6 minutes, the cook button makes it
rubbery. I have it with a half can of spinich with lemon, salt & pepper.
I also bake chicken breasts (boneless, skinless). I marinate them
for an hour in a mixture of blended onions, a small carrot, salt, pepper, garlic powder and a little vinegar. I foil the pan for easy clean up and
spray the foil with spray oil. I like to cut up onions, green peppers and roasted red peppers putting them under the chicken. Then some sliced potatoes
(skin on) with salt, pepper and garlic salt and bake for 40 miniutes at 400 degrees.
Another meal that's real easy is pasta salad. I boil whole grain pasta. I can vary it by adding either a jar of pickled mixed vegatables after draining
the liquid or a frozen bag of mixed vegatables prepared as directed. I either add low calorie italian dressing or low calorie miracle whip.
I don't leave out in between meal, snacks and desserts. When I get hungry between meals I'll usually eat a carrot or celery stick but when I want something
sweet I'll eat an apple, pear, banana, melon or a low calorie/light syrup fruit cup from Dole or Del Monte. Sugar free Jello is great for dessert. My favorite is Raspberry with fruit cocktail mixed in. If I use canned fruit, I drain all the liquid off. For variety I use different Jello flavors and different fruits. Popsicle makes low calorie treats like sugar free popsicles, creamsicles and
fudgesicles.
I put 2 sugar free hard candies on my desk in case I just need a quick fix for my sweet tooth. Pretzels and Popcorn are two of the lowest calorie
salty, crunchy snacks.
I put Pretzels in zipper bags, 1 ounce each. Sometimes I just eat the salt & throw away the rest. I buy the light butter flavor microwave Popcorn
